Southern California Rideshare helps commuters find alternatives to driving alone, such as carpooling, vanpooling, taking public transit or telecommuting. The goal of Southern California Rideshare is to reduce traffic congestion, air pollution and energy use, serving more than 3,500 employers at 6,000 sites and nearly a million commuters.

Southern California Rideshare, a department of the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG), is funded primarily by Caltrans, the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority and the Ventura County Transportation Commission; and works in partnership with Riverside County Transportation
Commission and San Bernardino County Associated Governments.
